Delicious chicken tacos made with seasoned chicken, cheese, and fresh toppings.

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season chicken breasts with taco seasoning. Marinate for at least 20 minutes if possible.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden brown, about 6–8 minutes per side. Shred the cooked chicken using two forks.
- Fill tortillas with shredded chicken and top generously with both cheeses.
- Place filled tacos in the oven for 10–12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Feel free to customize toppings with avocado, cilantro, or your favorite salsa.
- For extra flavor, consider adding lime juice before serving.
