Description

This delicious baked salmon recipe is topped with a spicy chili sauce that adds a burst of flavor. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped scallions
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry and place skin-side down on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, garlic powder, and lime juice until smooth.
  4. Spoon a small amount of sauce over each salmon fillet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes depending on thickness.
  5. Switch oven to broil and cook salmon an additional 2 to 3 minutes until sauce is bubbly and lightly caramelized.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds. Serve hot with remaining sauce.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh salmon fillets.
  • Adjust the heat level by adding more or less sriracha according to your taste.
