Description

These colorful skewers make a festive addition to any gathering, featuring a mix of cheeses, pickles, and salami.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slices salami
  • 12 cubes cheddar cheese
  • 12 balls mozzarella
  • 12 baby dill pickles
  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 6 rosemary sprigs (optional)
  • 12 green or black olives
  • 12 small cheese stars or star-shaped crackers

Instructions

  1. Cut cheddar cheese into cubes, rinse cherry tomatoes, drain pickles and olives, and prep salami slices for folding.
  2. Begin assembling skewers: start with a cube of cheddar or mozzarella as the base.
  3. Fold salami into quarters or halves, and layer with pickles, tomatoes, and olives to form a tree shape.
  4. Top each skewer with a cheese star or mini festive cracker.
  5. Insert a rosemary sprig between layers or at the bottom (optional).
  6. Chill skewers in the fridge until ready to serve. Display upright in a cone or flat on a platter.
