Delicious homemade popovers that are light and airy, perfect for any meal!
Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing muffin tin)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F and place the muffin tin inside to heat.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs and milk until fully combined and frothy.
- Add flour and salt gradually, whisking until batter is smooth.
- Let the batter rest for 10 minutes to reduce bubbles and improve texture.
- Remove the hot muffin tin from the oven and add 1/2 teaspoon of melted butter into each cup.
- Quickly pour batter into each cup, filling about halfway.
- Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes without opening the oven door.
- Reduce heat to 350°F and bake for another 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Carefully remove popovers from the tin and serve hot.
Notes
- These popovers are best served fresh out of the oven.
- Experiment with adding cheese or herbs to the batter for extra flavor!
