Ingredients

- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1 can (28 oz) whole tomatoes (preferably San Marzano)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, warm olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add canned tomatoes and crush them; let simmer until bubbly.
- Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Add uncooked spaghetti directly into the sauce and cook according to package instructions, stirring occasionally.
- Once cooked, mix in fresh basil and serve topped with grated Parmesan.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider using freshly cracked black pepper.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of garlic based on your preference.
