Ingredients

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined. Gently mix in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
