A delicious and easy taco salad perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (about 1 oz)
- 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (preferably vine-ripened)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 ripe avocado, diced
- 1 cup corn chips or tortilla strips
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with taco seasoning for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
- While the beef is cooking, chop the romaine lettuce and dice the tomatoes. Arrange them in a large serving bowl.
- Once the beef is cooked, let it cool slightly before adding it to the bowl with the lettuce and tomatoes. Gently fold in the diced avocado.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the salad and add dollops of sour cream or Greek yogurt.
- Just before serving, top with corn chips or tortilla strips for added crunch.
Notes
- This salad can be customized with additional toppings like olives or jalapeños.
- For a vegetarian option, substitute the beef with black beans.
